The trend for this generation is the "Selfie" but what people don't realize is that there is a proper way to take one.
- A certain lighting- people will take a photo with the worst quality of lighting. Who wants to see a selfie if it's too bright or too dark?
- A proper pose- I have seen the awkward most positions for selfies. Like we know you are taking the photo so why are you looking away from the camera?
- The caption- you took a selfie of yourself, you don't need a philosophical quote on your picture. Seflies don't inspire
- Your facial expression- stop with the stupid expressions in photos. No one cares about your duck faces. JUST SMILE.
- Posting the selfie- ask someone before posting it. For not only your own sake, but everyone else's as well.
I know I sound like I take the selfie a little seriously. But if you're going to do it, do it right.
